President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned the attack on a Catholic Church in Anambra on Sunday.
The attack led to the death of 11 people, while 18 others are severely injured.
In a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the President described the incident as “an appalling crime against humanity and unspeakable sacrilege.”
He said such act “plumbs the depth of depravity and extreme cruelty of the kind that words cannot adequately express.”
He urged;
“all Nigerians must rise up and speak with one voice against these remorseless evil men.”
The President assured Nigerians that their safety is paramount to his administration.
